Female Veteran in need.
Citrus County Veterans
Coalition, "Vets helping Vets", will be supporting a fundraiser
in Nov. to help a veteran receive a much needed car.
A 64 YO female vet (Who
was Honorably Discharged, from the U.S. Army in 1975) named Jeanne,
who though she lives on her own, has had a double mastectomy, has
MS, Type II diabetes, and is on a fixed income. Additionally, she
gets $47 in food stamps. Jeanne needs to get a car, in order to
get her mobility back. She can't get her mail, food, or to her Dr.
appointments, without depending on someone else. She is very
independent, smart, witty, and just an overall good person. J.J.
Kenney has known her forever and supports our venture. She is proud
to say she has never had a car accident or a ticket. Her Florida
Drivers License has always indicated: Safe Driver.
Wear To Go consignment (352) 344-9327 3802 E Gulf To Lake Hwy, Inverness,
FL has agreed to hold a fund raiser for Jeanne in conjunction with
the 2nd year anniversary of her store on Friday Nov. 19th from 11
am until 4PM. Anyone having items they want to sell at the function
can set up a table and donate part of their proceeds to the event.
Sales, food, and fun will be held by all. If you would like to donate
items to sell at the event (no clothes, please) or cash donations
contact Kim (352)344- 9327 or Cynthia at (352)628-6481.

Since many of
us are veterans, or support our veterans, we have chosen to work
with some of the veterans groups locally.
We have found
that many veterans are victims of crime like any of us. All of our
veterans deserve our help and understanding.
The Center for
Victims Rights has proudly chosen to join with these groups to offer
our assistance to all veterans that can use our help.
We hope that
all will lend a hand to help our veterans in any way that they can.
